OUR COMMUNITY ACTION

We are a local group based in Highgate, who have created a community campaign to raise money and offer tangible support to refugees. It’s a non-political campaign to support the dignity and safety of refugees, and help them build a future.

We are raising funds and awareness to give vital aid to refugee camps in Europe, we are campaigning to allow as many of the 3,000 unaccompanied child refugees allowed into the country and we are supporting the Islington Centre to help refugees already in London. Inspired by our neighbour,  Juliet Stevenson, actress and campaigner for refugees' support, we welcome involvement from everyone, whether locally or further afield, whether support in cash or in kind, by helping practically or by adding your voice to the campaign and to our group.

We want to demonstrate that HIGHGATE HAS HEART. Together we will do what we can to help these vulnerable and deserving people and it is within our collective power, wallets and hearts to do something concrete to make a difference.
